HOW TO GET THERE?
By plane:
- from Warsaw Chopin Airport (10 km form the City Center, 30 minutes) – https://www.warsaw-airport.com/
- Direct bus connections: lines 175, and N32
- Trains: S2, S3
- A taxi ride to the city costs around PLN 50-80 (EUR 15/20)
- from Modlin Airport (35 km form the City Center, mainly serves budget airlines) – https://modlinairport.pl/
- By bus (CONTBUS or FLIXBUS), which takes about 50 minutes and costs PLN 30-45 (EUR 10)
- with a Koleje Mazowieckie train; take a special airport bus to get from Modlin Airport terminal to Modlin railway station. The train journey takes around 1 hour 15 minutes and costs PLN 19 (EUR 4). Taxis are also available, with fares ranging from PLN 100-200 (EUR 25-50).
By train:
Three stations:
- Warszawa Centralna (Warsaw Central Station) – located in the city center, well-connected to public transport.
- Warszawa Zachodnia (Warsaw West Station ) – next to the international bus terminal.
- Warszawa Wschodnia (Warsaw East Station) – situated on the eastern bank of the Vistula River (Praga).

By car:
Warsaw, located in central Poland, is well-connected by road to major cities in the south and west. It is also accessible from the north via various ferry services on the Baltic Sea. The main highways, A1 and A2, run in the north-south and east-west directions. On-street parking is available in the city center, with fees payable at roadside machines, along with paid parking lots. EU citizens can use their valid national driving licenses, but those from countries that haven’t signed the Vienna Convention (such as Australia and the U.S.) will find their licenses invalid.
