The 2026 Naples Workshop on Bioactive Peptides
The 19th edition of the Naples Workshop on Bioactive Peptides, entitled “The World of Peptides: A Never-Ending Tale”, will take place on June 25–27, 2026 in Naples, Italy, at the Centro Congressi of the University of Naples Federico II.
The scientific program will include six sessions featuring plenary and keynote lectures, selected oral communications, and two poster sessions. Dedicated sessions will provide space for companies developing peptide therapeutics and related technologies, as well as for contributions from young scientists.
A longstanding hallmark of the Naples Workshop is its strong focus on structure–activity relationship (SAR) studies, aimed at improving the biological properties of native peptides and transforming them into drug-like compounds. The 2026 edition will highlight emerging and challenging developments in areas such as peptide drug development in the era of artificial intelligence, diagnostic and therapeutic applications, antimicrobial peptides, peptide mimetics, chemical biology, chemical ligation and bioconjugation, folding and aggregation, and immunology.
The meeting is held under the auspices of the European Peptide Society and the Italian Peptide Society.
Beyond its rich scientific content, the Workshop offers participants the unique atmosphere of the Gulf of Naples and an exceptional cultural setting for international exchange and collaboration.
